Hellmuth & Johnson names Phaedra Howard as Partner

Hellmuth & Johnson has named Phaedra Howard a partner of the firm, effective January 1st, 2015. With the addition of Howard, Hellmuth & Johnson now has 27 partners and 20 associates, continuing its focus on growth and excellence.

As a member of the real estate and development practice group, Phaedra brings her creative and strategic experience to cases involving individuals and a broad range of entities including condominium, townhouse, cooperative and other community associations. She assists these groups in our real estate, collections creditor’s rights and remedies, bankruptcy representation and community association law practice areas. Whether working with individuals or commercial entities in real estate, community association law or collections, creditor’s rights and remedies, Phaedra tailors her legal services to the unique needs of each client.

Phaedra has been an attorney at Hellmuth & Johnson since 2008. She obtained her J.D. from the Hamline University School of Law, and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago, where she obtained a B.A. in cultural anthropology. Phaedra is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Minnesota and Wisconsin and the federal court in Minnesota. She is a Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist, a designation held by a select few Minnesota attorneys. Phaedra is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association and the Wisconsin Bar Association, as well as a member of the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association. Phaedra is also a frequent contributor to industry publications and has presented lectures on various legal topics involving associations.
