A cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, Michael was managing editor of the Minnesota Journal of International Law and a member of the Dean’s “A” List. In law school, he also received the Ralph M. McCareins Antitrust Prize, which is an award given to a second-year law student with the highest examination grade in antitrust.
Michael served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Carol A. Hooten at the Minnesota Court of Appeals and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Diana E. Murphy at the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Michael is licensed to practice in the state of Minnesota. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Bar Association, and the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
Michael graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.
