Only a small percentage of patent litigation reaches trial, but Alex Farrell’s very first case as a newly minted attorney went all the way to a jury, and the favorable verdict he helped achieve left no doubt in his mind about where he would focus his talents.
Since then, Alex has worked on cases ranging from mechanical and software technologies to medical device and life sciences patents, and has achieved favorable verdicts and settlements in Federal Court and the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board.
Alex has helped clients in matters ranging from patent enforcement, to helping business grow and protect their trademark, copyright, and trade secret assets. Alex has experience in intellectual property licensing, as well as helping clients to safeguard their assets in employment and independent contractor agreements.
One thing common to all his cases: the extraordinary efforts put forth by his clients, and Alex’s commitment to protecting and advancing their interests.
Alex is a graduate of the William Mitchell College of Law. He completed his undergraduate studies at Drake University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts and was a Presidential Scholarship recipient.
