Jennifer C. Toohey is an attorney with the firm and concentrates her practice in the areas of:

- Real estate law
In the area of business law, Jennifer focuses on meeting the diverse transactional needs of clients who are launching new businesses or expanding existing businesses. Her real estate practice serves both entities and individuals involved in all types of real estate transactions – including builders, developers, and community associations.
Through her experience in the corporate arena, Jennifer brings unique skills and perspective to all types of business negotiations. From managing the real estate portfolio of a major national "big box" retailer to helping close multimillion dollar transactions, she is an aggressive negotiator who finds creative solutions for her clients. Spending countless hours in county property records departments, she has learned the nuances of real estate from the ground up. As an adjunct professor, she lends her knowledge to law students on business formation and negotiation techniques for general business and real estate transactions.
Licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts in Minnesota, Jennifer is a member of the Real Property Sections of the Hennepin County and Minnesota State Bar Associations. She is active in Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women and serves on the board of directors of the Twin Cities Housing Development Corporation. Jennifer also serves as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, teaching business entity formation and real estate negotiation courses.
Jennifer obtained her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Psychology.
