Kurt M. Mitchell is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where he primarily represents individuals, business entities and property owners. Specifically, his practice is concentrated in the following areas:
- Commercial litigation
- Construction defect litigation
Kurt’s experience includes complex business and real estate matters, product liability and insurance defense litigation.
Licensed to practice law in the state courts of Minnesota, Kurt is also admitted to practice in Montana, Oregon and Washington. He is a member of the Minnesota, Montana, Oregon and Washington State Bar Associations.
A former public defender for the State of Washington, he served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge Alan A. McDonald, Eastern District of Washington. More recently, he clerked for United States District Court Judge Jack D. Shanstrom, District of Montana.
Kurt obtained his J.D. from Oregon's Willamette University College of Law, and received his B.A. from Pomona College in California.
