Shari A. Jacobus is an attorney with the firm and member of the Litigation Practice Group. Shari concentrates her practice in the following areas:

• Mechanic's liens
• Construction law and litigation
• Construction defect litigation
• Business litigation

Shari brings her unique brand of advocacy, courtroom poise and confidence to bear for her clients, who benefit from her experiences as a former municipal prosecutor who has brought approximately 15,000 cases from arraignment to trial.  She primarily represents contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and owners in actions regarding mechanic's liens, construction defect disputes and other business and commercial disputes.

Licensed to practice law in the State and Federal courts in Minnesota and Wisconsin State courts, she is a member of the Ramsey County and Minnesota State Bar Associations. Shari is also an approved coordinator for continuing education in the construction industry, and regularly presents on a variety of construction law topics.
In 2005 and 2008, Shari was named to the Rising Star© list by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, represented among the top 2.5% of young attorneys in the state.

Shari obtained her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, graduating cum laude. She obtained B.S. degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin River Falls, where she graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honors Society in Psychology.
