Bart's employment law practice is focused on counseling his clients on sound employment practices while minimizing their exposure to liability.  This includes advice and representation on all issues relating to the hiring, discipline, and termination of employees.  He also creates the documents and agreements necessary for his client's human resources, including employment handbooks, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements.

Bart's experience representing clients in both employment law and related litigation matters allows him to craft real-world solutions to employment problems.  He offers a practical and pragmatic approach to the analysis of legal issues, and advises his clients on their best course of action.  His employment litigation experience encompasses the aggressive enforcement of non-competes and other employment agreements, as well as the defense of wrongful termination claims, unemployment compensation claims, and wage and commission claims.

Bart is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts in Minnesota and the United States Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He serves on the Minnesota State Bar Association Court Rules and Administration Committee, the Hennepin County Bar Association's Fourth District Ethics Committee, and is also a member of the Federal Bar Association. In 2006, he was named to the Minnesota Law & Politics "Rising Star" list, representing the top 2.5% of young attorneys in the state.

Bart obtained his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and earned a B.A. in Philosophy, graduating with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania.
