Matt Franken is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group, where he represents businesses and individuals in the following areas:
- Commercial litigation
- Real estate litigation
- Construction litigation
Matt brings a wealth of litigation experience gained at a large Midwestern law firm to his clients in areas including commercial and real estate disputes, construction defects, insurance coverage, and environmental matters. Matt is also experienced in complex business litigation and environmental law matters.
Matt is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Minnesota , and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Hennepin County and Minnesota State Bar Associations, and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association.
From 2004-2009, Matt has been named to the Rising Star© list by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, represented among the top 2.5% of young attorneys in the state.
Matt obtained his J.D. from the University of Minnesota, graduating cum laude. He completed his undergraduate studies at St. Olaf College, graduating cum laude, with a departmental distinction in biology and an environmental studies concentration. |
