| Tim L. Droel is a partner with the firm, concentrating his practice in the areas of business law, construction law, commercial litigation and real estate.
In the area of construction law, Droel primarily represents general contractors, subcontractors, owners, architects, labor unions and material suppliers in mediations, arbitrations, and district court actions regarding construction related disputes, including construction and design defects, mechanic’s liens, bonds, delays and disruption, payment, insurance and other disputes.
Droel also drafts, interprets and negotiates construction contracts, including - but not limited to - the interpretation and proper modification of AIA documents. Most notably, Droel represents general contractors who are engaged in building projects across the United States.
In the area of commercial litigation, he primarily represents individuals and/or business entities involved in commercial disputes.
Licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Minnesota and in the state courts of South Dakota, Droel is a member of the Hennepin County and Minnesota State Bar Associations, and the South Dakota State Bar Association.
Droel obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. |
