Tim L. Droel is a partner with the firm, where he serves a range of business entities in the areas of:

• Construction law
• Commercial litigation
• Real estate law
• Business law

In the area of construction law, Tim primarily represents general contractors, subcontractors, owners, architects, labor unions and material suppliers in mediations, arbitrations, and district court actions regarding construction related disputes, including construction and design defects, mechanic’s liens, bonds, delays and disruption, payment, insurance and other disputes.

He also drafts, interprets and negotiates construction contracts, including - but not limited to - the interpretation and proper modification of AIA documents. Most notably, he represents general contractors who are engaged in building projects across the United States. In the area of commercial litigation, Tim primarily represents individuals and/or business entities involved in commercial disputes.

Licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Minnesota and in the state courts of South Dakota, Tim is a member of the Hennepin County and Minnesota State Bar Associations, and the South Dakota State Bar Association.

He obtained his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a B.S. in Business Administration.
